Octavia Hill

Welcome to the part of the Pathmeads Housing Association website dedicated to Pathmeads Octavia Hill. We manage residential properties owned by Grainger GenInvest and Assettrust Ltd. See below for more information on both of these property portfolios.

Grainger GenInvest Portfolio

Grainger genInvest is a joint venture company comprising Grainger plc, the largest quoted residential property owner, and Genesis a Registered Social Landlord.

We manage properties in:

  • Waterloo
  • Stoke Newington
  • Maida Vale
  • Walworth
  • Vauxhall
  • Pimlico
Background Information

460 properties were transferred from the Church Commissioners to Grainger GenInvest in June 2005. This was followed by another 1120 properties in March 2006 creating a portfolio of 1580 properties. Pathmeads Octavia Hill manages the residential properties on behalf of the joint venture.

The Octavia Hill staff team are based at 324 Harrow Road, London, W9 2HP, and manage a range of property types including market rent and protected tenancies. There are also a number of leasehold properties.

The majority of the properties are on traditional estates although there are some street properties. Most of our estates have resident associations which are funded by the landlord and supported by Pathmeads Octavia Hill.

At present major works are underway on three estates improving security, landscaping and the physical appearance of the estates. Some remedial estate repairs are being carried out to balconies and roofs etc. Residents have been consulted on the nature and scope of the works and we have endeavoured to minimise disruption and inconvenience to residents.

Asset Trust Portfolio

This is a newer part of our business. In February 2008 we took over management of homes owned by the Asset Trust from PCHA, which is also part of the Genesis Housing Group. We now manage approximately 300 properties in various areas for the Asset Trust. This portfolio will continue to grow in the coming months.

We currently manage properties including:

The Ovaltine Site, in Kings Langley, Herts

Point Pleasant, and Hardy Court, Wandsworth, SW18

Royal Arsenal, Woolwich, SE18

In addition new developments coming into management later this year include:

Hunton Bridge, Kings Langley, Herts

City Quarter, Aldgate, E1
The Forge, Westferry Road, E14

Pan Peninsula, Marsh Wall, E14
