Pathmeads and Guys & St Thomas' bring back six empty units for Key workers

Founders place after it was refurbished

Pathmeads Key Places, part of Genesis Housing Group, is working in partnership with Guys and St Thomas' Charity, and its contractor, Shenstone, to refurbish six empty units to let out to key workers or the general market, in a block that Pathmeads manages on the Charity's behalf, in Waterloo, London.


These properties in Stangate and Canterbury Houses, which are superbly located in for central London were either abandoned or inhabited by squatters. Pathmeads refurbished them on behalf of the Charity to a high standard One more flat is currently being refurbished.

This will add 4 two-bedroom maisonettes, 1 two-bedroom flat and 1 studio apartment. Each property now has full gas central heating and all electrics now meet current regulation. They will have newNew kitchen units and appliances including new bathroom suite for each one. All units have been fully decorated with new carpets and flooring.


Refurbishment of the 5 properties took around five weeks and the total cost was £16,727 including VAT. A 2 bedroom property will cost £1,256 per month to rent at the market rent level.


Pathmeads Key Places is Pathmeads' Residential Lettings and Management
organisation. It specialises in providing rented accommodation mainly to key workers living in London and south east.
