Consulting Services

Pathmeads has a long experience of developing, procuring and managing temporary accommodation. We pioneered the use of leased accommodation for temporary housing in 1985 and have since become one of the leaders in the field, innovating and developing ways to use property to meet demands from local authorities to house statutory homeless families.

By successfully winning contracts and tenders and negotiating with our client Boroughs we now maintain a portfolio of approx 6,000 properties. Despite the difficulties other providers have experienced over the last few years we currently have contracts to manage properties across ten London Boroughs.

We have been procuring and managing temporary accommodation since 1986. Throughout these years there have been many changes in the legislation governing the provision of temporary accommodation. We have maintained close working relationships with our client boroughs, responding quickly and imaginatively to each new challenge. We have found many of our local authority clients look to us for guidance and ideas when changes are needed to ensure the continuing viability of temporary housing.

Our detailed knowledge of the property market in the areas we work has been an important factor in ensuring we deliver the properties as required by our client Boroughs.

Following our success in developing, procuring and managing temporary accommodation, we are often asked to provide advice, help and expertise to other organisations. As the leaders in the field we are happy to help other organisations to develop the necessary skills and knowledge to be successful. We have therefore established a consultancy service, to provide advice and assistance to Local Authorities and Housing Associations.
